Anjeer Barfi
Ingredients:
500 gm
Mava (Khoya)
100 to 200 gm Anjeer (fig)
2 cups Milk.
140 gm
Powdered sugar.
2 tsp Chocolate powder.
4 tbsp Ghee.
Method
:
Chop figs into small pieces.
Take a brass vessel and heat ghee in it.
Add figs to ghee and cook for 2 minutes.
Now add milk and cook till it thickens.
When done remove it from the heat & keep aside.
Now heat 2 tbsp of ghee and add mava and sugar to it.
Cook it on slow flame.
As it becomes thick add mixer of fig & milk and cocoa powder.
When it binds up completely & starts leaving the vessel remove it from the heat & add 1 spoon vanilla essence to it.
Spread it into a plate which is properly greased with ghee.
Cut into pieces when cool & serve.
